originally, i wanted to use the K&N Typhoon and the Stillen High flow in conjunction, but i realized that it probably would not fit correctly. oh well.

Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion I feel much better talking to you guys than talking to people at Mercedes forum. You just can't say one thing bad about Mercedes, even on the topic discussing whether a Mercedes is troublesome. Couple of Mercedes owners, including myself, were trying to relate our experiences, negative one however, with the topic, and we got bashed by some other so-called Mercedes Loyalists. We were just trying to shed some light regarding how Mercdes quality has slipped over the years based on our truth experiencesm, and we know most Mercedes owners, 99%, have similar experiences but are afraid to voice their opinions. They'd just tell you, " you don't deserve to drive a Mercedes", " sell it and buy a Japanese car, I will never drive anything else but Mercedes", "go away","commit yourself to the nearest mental institution", and much more. I feel bad for them. What's wrong with a Japanese cars, luxury or not. As long as its trouble free, I don't care what they say about the Japnaese cars. Just venting.

Re: Stillen Hi-Flow

I have the Sillen Hi-Flow and the Z tube. The end result is a noticable improvement in performance when above 4500 rpm at WOT. Incredible sound. I got an immediate boost of about 2mpg on the highway. Around town, I think I'm doing worse, as I keep flooring the thing because it sounds so terrific.

Re: Stillen Hi-Flow

i think many people are buying MB's simply for the name nowadays. but i guess its better than having people who know nothing of performance driving a G and abusing it and never letting it use its full potential.

Re: Stillen Hi-Flow

I agree. I went and drove a C32. Incredible car but it was simply over priced. There have been lots of changes to MB in the last five or six years where people question the quality and MB itself has begun looking over it's shoulder at the competition. I don't thnk there is as much of a gap between Japaneese and German as there used to be.
