The tone is slightly louder than stock. Just enough to where someone who knows a stock G35's sound would realize it, but no one else really would. Its similar to the Fuji muffler. After it was broken in, it was noticeably louder to me... but not by much. Since I bought mine, I've done alot of other engine/exhaust mods, so mine sound nothing like the SP2 muffler by itself... Now, mine can get REALLY loud when its warmed up.

I wouldn't say its cheap...yes its cheaper than most but during the short time I had the SP2, I loved it. I had RT cats and a gruppe y-pipe so that added to the note. I can't say if its louder than stock without the other components but I would guess it would be.

My friend here in Atlanta has the SP2 with his vortech and kinetix cats (I think or they might be Crawfords), either way his exhaust sounds great and the people who tuned his car said it was great with the FI...

I have it. It's not "cheap" as some people would call it. It's a rear section muffler, so its not going to be $800+ like other exhausts. GReddy is a proven company.

Sound is louder than stock, a bit throatier. Looks great.
