best intake with the most gains? for a 04G coupe?

i have a 04 g35 sport coupe 6sp and want to know what the best intake I can get is....aem's gains seem small but people say that injens intake even tho its cold air, retains all the heat in the pipe since its metal and still takes in hot air resulting in less hp......should I get a stillen pop charger or the http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INFIN...634QQihZ001QQi temZ110024196680QQrdZ1#ebayphotohosting

intake???? also i'm looking at if i do get the full aftermarket replacement intake the Nismp CAI looks good too,

Get a full CAI, nothing less, brand does not matter, they all do the same so dont believe the hype... Get at least a 1\2 Plenum spacer kit, I have Skunk2 5\8 and had to loose my eng. cover for it, but it was worth it. I have friends with Motordyne spacer kits and they are great also, I didn't buy Motordyne cause just at the time I wanted one, it would have been back ordered.

The before and after;
Before these mods I would struggle to keep up with my buddies Z, after I can smoke it pretty badly; dont ask about dyno numbers ect. cause I dont care about that, the Z test is good for me and so is the 26-27MPG hiway miles I can average.

It really depends, with the factory ECU the oxygen sensors detect the fuel mixture and will tell the ECU to richen or lean out the mixture of air and fuel. With the ECU correcting this sometimes it would actually cause a loss of HP with CAI and exhaust. The CAI or intake may add a coupe HP, but all of them put out around the same numbers until you get a new ECU or air flow controler.

I have a injen and it sounds great. I know it added a few ponies, but nothing more than 8hp. I then baught myself a apexi S-AFC2 and had it tuned on a dyno and it showed gains of 16hp after the controler.

Every air intake system made for our car is great and will perform very well, so no matter what you go with its going to sound and perform exceptionaly well ! Stillen, Injen, AEM, K&N, HKS, and JWT to name a few --- All are great just personal preference

Use your head when installing a CAI............!

We had a post just this week where one of our members lost his engine due to water ingestion.
The Stillen CAI will give you all you'll ever need and
doesn't involve having your intake close to moisture.
MotorDyne makes spacers for your plem and the
owner Tony always available for your questions/help.
Keep watching this site for all the mods you'll need
like Z-Tube and exhaust system....it's all here!

^~~~ I like when people say stuff like that. Of course you're going to say, "trust me".. because you purchased and have it installed on your car. If you went otherwise, per'say, you went with an Injen BY CHANCE, you would then say, "trust me" again. It would be wierd for you to say, "Injen.. trust me" and have a Stillen on your car lol.

I've seen gains with most intakes... you'll get biast opinions for 99.7% of the people that have intake systems on their cars because only a certain handful of them would R&D multiple systems.

So yea, do a search, most people will say that the intake they have on their car is the one that works best, "who will convince you more?" is the question.
