Only cost me about $400 for the headers and $200 for the install. May not be the best, but cost less than Nismo, easier to install than Crawford, run cooler than stainless, and provide decent gains. Why would you want tp pay for stainless anyway, you can't see them from engine bay.
Now the best way to compliment them is to get some Fast Intentions hi-flow cats. That will be my next and last engine mod.

For others interested, I would highly recommend the Strup stainless steel headers. Exceptional quality and fitment, and probably the easiest to install. They don't require you to lift the engine or lower the trans to do so, and many of our customers have done the install themselves in their garage on jack stands!
Strup also backs their headers with a 2 year warranty.
We're having a nice sale on them right now if interested:

i've got some megan racing headers for sale if you would like to check them out. I'll sell them to you for 175 + shipping. Reason for selling is i found out the price for installation and dont have enough money b/c parents wont help to pay for installation so i'm just gonna go ahead and sell them now knowing how much installation is.

Hi Lou. Great to hear from you again. I hope you're enjoying your Crawfords.
Of course I endorse them because they're a quality product that is a proven performer for a much more reasonable price than the Crawford headers. And all of those reasons are exactly why we sell them too. Their performance gains are in line with the Crawfords too, and the effort to install them is much less. I believe that Strup provides an exceptional performance product that lives up to the expectation that people who drive a luxury sports car come to expect.
Crawford makes an exceptional quality product too, but the cost of admission is sometimes more than people want to spend for gains that aren't much more than you'd get from the Strup headers. Hence the reason why I endorse Strup, and we sell them.

1. Great to hear from you too. Yes, I am enjoying my Crawfords - A LOT.
2. The performance gain, while being noticable, is not in line with the Crawfords. Crawfords tubes are longer, equal length, and dump into a real collector.
3. Yep, the cost of admission and the cost of the installation is high, compared to the Strup. But, as I'm sure you've heard. - "You only Get What You Pay For."
For an inexpensive header, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Strup, but when you want to play with the big boys, there is only one way to go.

Nismo vs. Crawford?
What do you guys think of Nismo vs. Crawford headers? If the Crawford's cost so much more to install, wouldn't the Nismos be about the same price? I'm hesitant about the Crawfords because I've heard their cats have cracked in the past...just worried about workmanship/reliability issues.

g45- here's a link to sun55amg who's got the HKS headers...

I thought about those headers too, but I'm sure it'll difficult to get the HKS Super Header Type II's. Special order I'd imagine probably costing alot.
Have you considered Tomei headers? There's a member on my350z who just got some. Here's a link...
