Need Help With Fuji/JIC System.

I had my exhaust installed a couple of months ago. Everything seems fine, but every once in a while I get a rattling noise in the rear passenger side while going over some bumps or even sometimes under WOT. I have had the Infiniti dealer inspect and my mechanic that installed the system inspect and neither has found anything. I have had my sways checked and still nothing. Some have suggested it could be an internal baffle of the muffler, but I find that hard to believe. The exhaust is only a couple months old and Fuji quality is supposed to be excellent. Plus the noise is not always there. I have also checked the car over and can see nothing. It almost sounds as if the exhaust is banging against something, but no one has seen anything. Does anyone have any suggestions where to look for possible culprits to this annoying noise. I really need some help with this one as it has become very frustrating. I would appreaciate any and all help. Thanks

what part of the exhaust is jic? i would believe that would be the issue with their quality track record.

The Y pipe is from JIC, but the noise is coming from the rear portion of the car on the passenger side. Anybody have any ideas?

Anybody?? Anyone have a Fuji system with any issues? I think mid pipe or Y pipe may be hitting against a cross member or something, but no ones seems to be able to find anything. When system warms up I am alos getting some vibration. Should I just take back to shop and have them loosen everything and then re-install?

What year is your car? I know that the 2006 with HICAS has clearance issues certain exhausts. And there is nothing wrong with JIC products, the JIC Y pipe is probably the best one for the G/Z, it is less restrictive than the Fuji or NISMO so you went with the right setup, JIC just has bad service.

2005. No issues anymore. Altered Atmosphere fixed the rattle. I am a big fan of the JIC/Fuji setup. Sounds great, performs great, is not that loud and looks great too. Now that rattle is gone, I have no complaints.

Could you shed some light as to what caused the rattle and how it was fixed?

Guarantee that it was hitting the left side of the car underneath, probably a muffler clamp. It is real tight under there.

Mid pipe was hitting crossmember. It was re-adjusted and there are no more issues. I hope that helps.
