Crawford Plenum HP gains

I've read plenty of good things about the plenum, however, I haven't seen anything about the actual HP/torque gains. Does anyone have these numbers? Crawford's site is a little bare in information...

Thanks!

I have heard 10hp throughout and close to 20hp at redline

Another way of saying it is, the pleneum nets 9hp at the usual power peak, yet goes on to prevent as much of a power fall off as the revs climb, netting a 20hp gain by redline. As a owner of the pleneum, I 100% agree with that way of describing its power gains. It matchs up with my feelings of how the car felt from the very first time I planted the throttle and ran the car through the gears. It's worth every penny and extreamly easy to DIY install. I highly recommend it.

The plenum has got to be one of the single best mods for the VQ motor on the market right now... Not necessarily the prettiest, but aesthetics always take a back seat to performance in my book...

The Z cover will not work with the plenum. Actually the G cover will work, it just takes a little work. There is a post over at FA on this very issue. You might want to check it out. I choose to go without. I like the RAW look.

Yea I know of the G cover fitting, but like you I like the raw look, it also keeps it running a bit colder. THe Z Cover looked different like it didnt cover the entire plenum, smaller. So I figured it might work nice.

Re: Crawford Plenum HP gains

Now, here's the second part of the question

Are those horsepower gains with a stock airbox or with the Z-tube/Stillen or Injen? It would lend to think that with the Crawford alone, it would help, but being able to feed it more air in addition to the Crawford would relate to much better than the plenum alone.
