Exhaust for G35?

Hello Enthuasists!

After hours of searching internet & forums, it had been harder to choose right exhaust for me.
I've heard the reputation of HKS exhausts, but those are too expensive ($1795.00 at hksusa.com). Probably it is cheaper than that at the local or online store. I would believe HKS is the best on the infiniti market in terms of price.

However I do not see any helpful sound or video clips of it. I could find lots of pictures of it. Yay, it is well made as far as picture shown. I could find a few sound of videos on the net but its too clumsy. Those clips turn me down for HKS.

My budget is less than $1000 and I know I cannot have the new HKS system (not used from ebay).
While browsing this forum, I found the following thread:

https://g35driver.com/forums/exhaust-vendor/132969-ark-exhaust-sponsorship-socal-members.html

Yay...$629 for my Infiniti from ark performance.
That looks so yummy! but 5 times of show appearance? I can show up at local meeting 5 times and its worth it.

Anybody heard ark and how are the products from ark?
I visited their online site and found nice video clips:

http://www.arkspeedracing.com/03_ON_...m1101-003d.htm

Also there are product pictures and Dyno result of it too:
http://www.arkperformance.com/content/view/38/56/

So far I could find nice visible hp increase, pictures, and videos. But I could not find review of this product.
Anyone have installed this product? Unbiased review?

I'll appreciate your reply.

I don't think I've heard a bad review on a brand-name exhaust on here. Everyone has their own tastes. The Injen Ti is cheaper than the HKS and is also louder. Stillen is also pretty loud too. There are some sound clips on here of a few exhausts. there is a website that has a ton of exhaust clips on the 350z which will sound very similar. you should do a search for them but i couldn't find them either.

As for the ARK you have to attend an actual car show I think for the sponsorship, As in you have to be entered in a car show.

Check out the marketplace for a new exhaust from a sponsor which will usually run you around $1400 for a true dual. The classifieds have used ones if you don't mind gettin used.

Thanks for quick reply.

izimir:
Is Injen legal? I heard it is illegal in california when it is louder than 95 decibel. I do not want to have my car loud or cheap sound.
Also speaking of sponsorship, I actually called ark and they said I could show up local meeting and it would count too.

Question:
Do HKS 35G & 350Z have same or similar sound?

injen ti tip is loud and illegal in ca. but if you know how to drive your car you can get away with it. only problems youll have is when you dont see the cop.

i heard the 350z hks last week and it sounds similar but i wouldnt say the same.

just like the stock g and stock z sound. both are similar but not the same (imo). but i dont know how to explain the difference

I'd be interested in your "SEMI-Sponsorship" program. I have a 2004 G Coupe 6MT. I am a staff member of PDA (Performance Drivers Association) / NASA Northeast, which is a racing and HPDE organization. We schedule roughly three dozen event-days a year, of which I attend, participate and instruct in more than 20.
Please visit the websites and you will see the variety of cars that participate in our events, for many of which ARK has product offerings.
There is also opportunity for advertising or sponsorship at our events, on our websites and possibly through Grassroots Motorsport magazine, a support of our organization. (pdadrivingschool.com and nasanortheast.com) Even if you decide this is not a good sponsorship opportunity for you, perhaps you will see some value in becoming a part of club racing and HPDE.
Thank you for your consideration.

Can anyone compare or tell the build quality of ark exhaust from the pictures on the web? How about the sound clips? Does it sound good or bad?

The HKS exhaust is more expensive directly from their site. You can find it on mynismo for 1350. Don't listen to these fools about the Fast Intentions exhaust. It doesn't sound that great (their clips have cars that also have test pipes) and the exhaust itself is more expensive than the HKS system. If you only have 1k to spend I would say go greddy, or 5zigen. Both are awesome.

This guy clearly has issues and probably is kicking himself that he bought an H.K.S. and not an F.I.
I will make him a killer deal on on though.

For anyone that might be interested in the F.I. exhaust just give me a call @ 818-882-2788, I will be more then happy to answer any questions you might have...Thanks, Tony

if your budget is less than $1k, get the Greddy evo2. imo, I love it. It was exactly what I was looking for, but everyones taste is indeed different.
