Borla exhaust....should I add my drilled cats?

About 8 months ago, I bought a set of stock cats really cheap off someone on My350Z. My friend and I drilled them out completely through, but I wasn't really ready to put them on the car. Since then, I've put a Borla on my car and I'm almost experiencing buyer's remorse. The sound wasn't quite as throaty as I expected. I have a few questions.

1. Will drilled stock cats make my current exhaust (Borla) rattle?

2. Should I swap back to my stock exhaust and put the drilled cats in instead, seeing as I think that might get me the sound I'm looking for?

3. Does anyone have clips of either the stock exhaust or a Borla with gutted cats?

I would suggest keep your borla and don't bother with the drilled cats.. I have heard from some members who did it on my350z.com that the rasp is pretty bad on the drilled stock cats

Thanks for the responses guys. I bought it used for a very very good price, but I also hadn't heard one in person. (I still haven't, technically. I trust very few people to drive my car, so I haven't heard it from the outside yet.) However, I'm leaning towards HFCs now. I heard an HKS in person the other day for the first time and said to myself "Now that's the sound I........can't afford." Will the HFCs get me closer?
