HKS exhaust and Stillen intake

Today my exhaust and intake came in. I should have them installed tonight. Will there be any kind of gains from the two or is it just sound I would think that there would be gains in the mid to topend area considering the restrictive stock intake and muffler.

No noticeable gains. You will love the sound, it will be well worth it.

You should see some gains from them. Maybe not enough to notice but it will be there. More for sound.

i wouldnt expect anything too outstanding on the butt dyno, maybe a little because you're so excited and the car will just sound so good, it seems like you're going faster. If you need any help installing em PM me.

Thanks for the offer but I just finished installing both the intake and exhaust

After installing the exhaust I took it for a spin and it didn't sound to much louder when I got on it. A few minutes later I decided to do the intake also and man was I surprised. The Stillen intake and HKS exhaust combo sound bitchin together. Hopefully I'll have some sound clips soon.

So you gotta drop over 1k for sound? Please tell me there is some HP/TQ difference?

How much louder is the exhaust? Is the exhaust note similar? I actually like the sound of the stock, but wouldn't mind if it was alittle louder at times.

It was only a little over $600 for both the intake and exhaust. I installed it my self in about an hour. The HKS muffler isn't loud at all unless you go WOT. I think the intake gives you more sound then the exhaust. I'm sure there is some gains from doing the intake and exhaust but its not going to be a huge diffrence.

which HKS exhaust did you get. If you got the high powered one, how did you get it for 600? Also if you got the high power one you have 2 muffler(s) not one. Lastly, the high power exhaust is supposed to give gains of around 13 hp to the wheels. This should be fairly noticable.

You need a coupe or 05-06 sedan middy to really make your exhaust sound nice and raise the volume. The resonators on the 03-04 are HUGE and really quiet things down.

This is for a sedan. It is just a muffler not a catback.

Sorry I should of mentioned it was on a sedan. The car is still pretty quite until you give it some gas

What kind of sound diffrence would I get by just changing out the mid pipe?
