Do you know if they are going to offer a cheaper aluminized version? Living where there is no snow (FL), I don't really need stainless steel.

Re: The New SEDAN Stillen Dual Catback - INSTALLED!!!

GurgenPB,
Thanks for the info, the system looks good on the G.

Will the Stillen exhaust still allow the installation of aftermarket sway bars?

Take care,

Re: The New SEDAN Stillen Dual Catback - INSTALLED!!!

How much did installation run you? Looks like you need to remove the "Stillen Catback Exhaust" from the coming soon part of your mod list. Finally.

On another note, some guy emailed me that he just got his Borla exhaust installed as well. Can't wait to get more 411 on both products so I can add a new piece to the G.

Re: The New SEDAN Stillen Dual Catback - INSTALLED!!!

I used to work at a machanic shop as a helper, I would be able to use their lifts so my question is, Is this a direct bolt on system and how easy is it to install?

Audio Sound Bites

OK all you drooling sedan owners...let me just say that I have every intention of being kit #2!!!!

Sorry about the low light levels, but then we want to hear the pipes and not look at them right? See above for images. Here ya go, you will need to log into Sony Imagestation to hear them.

FYI:
Gurgen: Crawdford Plenum, Injen CAI, Stillen Dual Exhaust
Ted: 350z Duct, Stillen Hi-Flow, stock exhaust

File #1: Stillen Dual - IDLE

File #2: Stillen Dual - REV1

File #3: Stillen Dual - REV2

File #4: Stillen Dual - Injen CAI vs. Stock - 350z duct and Stillen Hi-Flow
(note: 1st rev is Ted, 2nd Gurgen, 3rd Ted, 4th Gurgen)

Enjoy, Ted

Re: Audio Sound Bites

Thanks very much again Ted.

As for your guys' questions:

1) INstallation: I paid $60 - it is about an hour of install.
2) Sway bars: I would think you can (Although you may have to remove the short tube piece from the stillen exhaust to route the the sway bars in and out) b/c the aftermarket sways are about the same shape as the stock ones , only thicker and stiffer.
3) Don't know about the aluminized version (probably not if I had to guess - only a guess).
4) As far as my sig - i gotta get a copy of photoshop to update it - left home for a month - no computer!
5) The installation is a direct bolt on. It really DID install PERFECTLY - not like that 350Z Borla TD nightmare that I am hearing about.

Re: Audio Sound Bites

Gurgen and Ted... great job. Thanks for being involved and getting out another product for the sedans. The system definitely looks sweet and sounds good. You can tell it's deeper than stock from those video clips. Also louder as well. My question is under 4K how loud is the exhaust note compared to stock inside the cabin? Thanks again for the great work.

In regards to the exhaust fitment with aftermarket swaybars

Per Steve Millen:

No problem with the Stillen swaybars! Can't speak about other brands yet......

FYI!!!!!!! The new Stillen Headers for the G35 (shipping Jan 10) fit both the sedan and coupe!!! Ceramic and Stainless!!!!

Re: The New SEDAN Stillen Dual Catback - INSTALLED!!!

Considering the overall response, any chance of a group buy or general G35Driver discount?
