Sorry a noob question, and yes I searched. I have seen pictures on this site of JWT popchargers installed. Here's the question. Does it connect up to the stock intake part that goes across the center. I have seen pictures with and without it connected. Some pictures it looks like it was removed. I am interested in getting either the JWT or the Stillen. Which one is better?

Thanks,

Bob

Does the JWT connect to the stock intake piece that goes across the front, like the Stillen does?

Thanks,

Bob

The rubber strips that come with the JWT Popcharger assembly (when installed per their instructions) serves as a "coupling" of the center piece air diverter and the Popcharger heat shield.

Got everything in today, and loving it! The only problem that I ran into was installing the rubber pieces on the shield and stock across the front piece. I had to use a heat gun to make them easier to work with. We got a cold snap here in Chicago. It's 30 out, 15 with the wind chill.

It's not the best connection with the rubber pieces, but they do kinda sit one inside the other.
