Yes! That is the same noise I am hearing with my Fujita.

I guess I can stop freaking out now. Im going to call Fujita tomorrow and ask them wth.

And the noise gets louder with a spacer? Uhh yeah thats not so comforting.

My nismo CAI makes the same noise when i tap the throttle, and ive been wondering about it.

 

i love that whistle sound, i have the AEM cai, which intake has a louder whistle sound compared to the AEM?

 

my pop charger gives me the whistle... doesnt bother me... kind of fun listening to it sometimes.

 

i'm not sure why some people are freaking out over this, unless you just want a sleeper/oem-ish car with mods. In that case I can understand. Otherwise it's normal and it's just the throttle valve being open just enough to make a whistle... totally fine. It's not an air leak or something; that would be extremely loud.

I think the loudest intake is the injen short ram or the weapon R: secret weapon. So, I got the injen short ram 3.5" intake with the 4" weapon R foam filter on LOL. I also hear spacers, larger plenums, and the mrev2 might make it even louder.

My pop charger almost sounds like a damn bird tweeting at times...same RPM and no negative effect. Just there...

 

i love the sound. During aggressive driving, I can get the intake to whistle right after pressing the gas pedal to start accelerating AND wile letting go of the gas to switch gears. So I basically accelerate, whistle, gear shift, whistle, accelerate.. repeat. It really just sounds like a mini-turbo blow-off or some kind of sucking noise, etc.
