Re: pop charger diy?

No, sounds kind of nice actually. It's more a hiss. Like an old carburated car with the air cleaner off.

When I was a kid and my father loaned me his car, I'd drive it a half mile from the house, pop the hood, and take the air cleaner off to get this sound. If he knew what I was doing he would have had a fit.

Re: pop charger diy?

I got my Tube from Trophy Nissan in Texas for $75.00. The POP-Charger is available from Avalon Racing for $100.00 shipped.

Trophy - (972) 673-2200

Avalon - http://www.avalonracing.net/main.htm

Only difference so far is I can hear the intake whistle when idleing.

<hr></blockquote>
I don't hear mine whistle until I am increasing in RPM. Once I'm at a new higher RPM level and hold it steady there, the whistling goes away. I also have a z-tube...maybe that's the difference...or maybe I need to turn down the XM radio to hear more whistling!

The cone filter is re-useable and needs to be re-oiled after its cleaned.

Does anyone have pics of the new heat box for the JWT pop charger, the one that looks like the Stillen Air Box?
