Service Engine Light, Need Help!

Service Engine Light, Need Help!
The other day when I was driving, my service engine light came one. I took the car to the dealer, and found out the error is from my senors that are attached to my headers. The dealer replaced the senors. When we looked below the car, I found out that my test pipes were cracked. Has anyone had this problem? I have Alphawreck headers, and I have had the headers and test pipes on for about 6 months. Furthermore, when we took the car into the shop, the maintance worker said that my car is using more fuel because the computer thinks the engine is not getting enough air from the injen intake.
For experts out there, do you have any suggestion? I am really confused, and also feel my car does not drive in full performance.
I am thinking about buying new test-pipes. Do you guys have an idea about the problem or where it is actually coming from?
Thanks.

I have Strup Header ,Stillen cold intake , test pipes , full Greddy EvoII exhaust , lower plenum replacement and plenum spacer . During the winter months my Service Engine Soon light wouldn't stay off . I would get it reset like every three days . As in got warmer it doesn't come on anymore . The error code was " Bank One Sensor One " or the O/2 sensor . I have asked a lot of people and it is my understanding that any changes that are made may make the car not run right as far as fuel consumption . I was told that I will have to get some type of computer re-reflash of computer management to fix my fuel to air mix . I go through fuel like water to ! I hope that help !

You have two O2 sensors on each cat or test pipe. The first is to check the A/F, the second is only to see if the cat is working. If you have test pipes it is very common for the SES light to come on because it thinks your cat has failed. There is a non-fowler (sp?) fix for that which spaces the second sensor out a little.
As for the crack, that may also be causing the problem. If you have an exhaust leak you can have A/F issues which will lower your mpg.
I would take it to an exhaust shop and have them fix the crack.
