Exhaust Leak?
Whats up! So... today while idling I blipped the throttle and noticed a hissing noise after throttling... so... basically its like this :0) VROOM-bm-bm-bm-hiss..... lol I dont know how to explain it but... I had never noticed this before. Thinking it was an exhaust leak I jacked up my car and felt around but I didnt feel any sort of leak... I am curious if there is a better way to determine if there is an exhaust leak or not? or... has it always done this and I havent noticed?
BTW I have FI Test Pipes w/ stock exhaust.
Thanks for the help.

I saw a mechanic do this when i took my other car in for some exhuast work. Just take a hose (a garden hose or something) and put it one end to where you think the leak is and the other end to your ear. You should be able to hear (maybe even feel) the exhaust air that is leaking.
i think i know what your talking about. But i can hear mine when i start on my car and let it idle. it just hisses every here and there. and sssssssss ssssssssssss and stops...... for about 30 seconds or so, and then sssssssss ssssssssssssssssssssss .... but i didnt lose any power or the car didnt seem like anything was wrong so i just left it as it is.
I have FI High Flow Metalic cats with headers.
When i rev the car then get off the gas, as it revs down I get the Hiss. It's normal...annoying..but normal.
