How does the borla sound? A friend of mine has a borla on his 330ci...wondering if it would sound similar?

The one layed out on my garage floor is pretty quiet.

 

for $100 more... you coulda bought the Stillen G2 exhaust, which fits... AND its basically a TRUE DUAL exhaust.

 

Pm SkeletonCru, he has sound clips of the Borla with Injen intake.

 

Man that is a really big resonator, nowonder it didn't fit on the X.

 

The borla is a true dual just the same. There are dual pipes through the whole thing which is the definition of a "true" dual.

Yes! ou win unless someone on here either got a new one for free or someone paid them to take their used one!

 

It won't sound the same because the BMW has a straight 6 which sounds different. The borla is deep and subtle sounding. I have had mine since the first week I had my car and still like it a lot! I will admit it sounds even better with test pipes and turbos. It is quieter at idle and sooo clean but you can hear the engine more. Hard to explain.

The Borla G35X lives!!! I am going to wait for the pics to post my review, because I have several folks to thank.

But, I am (much as ttrank so elequently explained above) beyond thrilled with the sound and the performance.

Everything can fit if ya do a little research on g35driver and throw $ at the problem...

 

did you cut out the mid pipe?
