Same here.. it sounds perfect. I had the Exhaust/TP setup installed by Tony himself. Sound is good inside and out.. no complaints.

wow, after reading all of this...i'm hesitant on adding HFC's to my mix. My issue with the Intimidator is that is too quiet imo. i guess the difference is night and day in terms of sound/vibration w/HFC's?

Hey - how long have you had it installed? Maybe we could met up and I can hear it to give you an idea of what you'll end up with?

This thread has actually motivated me

I really want an FI exhaust with 300 cell cats...

I can't even imagine how good it would sound with DC Sport Headers!

Sure thing, it's pretty cool. I purchased it on eBay search for "EXHAUST CONTROLLER 2.5"

It works very well, I can run hard and loud and when I want and nice quiet exhaust I press a button. When it's closed you really can't drive the car hard because you’re restricting exhaust flow. It’s interesting how the power band shifts much lower when the valve is closed. But over all I’m very happy with this piece.

Yes, did it myself after work took 3.5 hours..took my time
On a scale 1 to 5 (5 being difficult) I'd give it a 3

It’s installed just before the xpipe, the S pipe is adjustable so I unbolted the pipe, shorted it and put the valve inline. The Supra and Mustang guys use this, haven’t heard a lot of G/Z folks that use it.
