Stillen Gen 2 exhaust issues...

I just threw on a stillen generation 2 exhaust on my 05 G35 sedan 6sp today. It sounds great under full throttle and doesn't drone when cruising. However I was getting some random rattles/knocks when going over bumps. I found there is little clearance for the rear right pipe that connects to the muffler. It is bent to go up and over the rear sway bar. It clears it fine but what I think is happening is the top of the pipe is hitting the under carrige of the car. Does anyone have this setup in their ride? If so has anyone had issues with rattling or knocking, and if so what is the cure? Thanks...

Figured it out.

Fixed it. If you do not have the pipe lined up PERFECTLY you will have this issue. It is kind of hard to make sure they are perfect when laying on your back. Once I got it up I saw which pipe was off by a hair. Once lined up correctly it fit just right. So far I have just the Stillen intake with ztube and Stillen generation 2 exhaust and it sound nice and throaty! If anyone has any question on the Stillen gen 2 let me know.

I'm running the Stillen Gen II exhaust with Berk HFC's. I absolutely love the sound but i'm having some rasp in the 3500-4000 rpm range (only after HFC's were installed). No regrets - sound is louder and deeper.

2,500 is killing me

I've recently gone ahead and upgraded my 2004 G35 sedan.

I put on an Eibach Pro Kit and Bilstein Shocks.

At the same time I installed a Motordyne Plenum, K&N Air Tube and Stillen Gen 2 exhaust.

I also installed Corbeau LG1 seats.

I've had the car ten years.. and wow what a fun upgrade. Not sure why I waited this long, but I'm at 54,000 miles and want to drive it to 100K so why not make it fun.

Everything is great except for at 2,500 RPM I am about to lose my mind. The drone is insane at 2,500 the idle is awesome. High speed, great. 2,500 it's time to just jump out of the car...

Is there anyone else with this issue or is there something I can do to fix it?

Pat
