Stillen Hi-Flow w/ztube or JWT Pop w/ztube?

I keep seeing positives and negatives comparisons between the two. Anyone have something to clean up the confusion for me. I'd like to purchase one of these today!

i assume you're just using the p/c filter with tha stillen box? this is also a pretty common combo from what i've seen. the p/c filter is suppose to work great, and stillen's airbox is suppose to be second only to the oem airbox.

Yes, Cal. Initially, I was searching for a backup K&N cone filter, which is what comes with the Stillen HFAB, as a stand-by. I couldn't find one, so . . . I happened onto the JWT popcharger filter. The said fits perfectly with the Stillen set-up.

The Stillen comes with a closed center K&N cone filter. The JWT popcharger filter element is a open center cone filtering element.

Sorry i have no idea what that means? and did you say Stillen comes with a K&N cone filter if so cant i just go to local autostore pickup one for like 40 bucks

The only reason i wanna know the difference is because i am planning on getting one with my ztube and i was just wondering if one will sound better than the other or if i can just get the cone K&N and have same sound as the JWT and stillen.

If they all have different sounds which would you recommend sounds the best? If they all sound the same might as well go with the Cone K&N filter right?

It's nothing complicated. It just *sounds* complicated.

This literally just means that the center K&N cone filter in the Stillen is closed, while the center of the cone filter of the JWT PopCharger is open. Regarding the filter design, it should be nothing for you to worry about!

Most people prefer the Stillen because its a short ram and has a much superior heat protection in comparison to the pop charger. (Long ram CAI are not beneficial in our VQ's)

Go with Stillen...

.
