Unknown, mine never did that after install. Maybe reset your ECU?

if you left the battery plugged in while you did the install, and unplugged the MAF while the battery was plugged in, I believe this will trip the light.

I have the Injen waiting to be installed once the weather gets nicer. How many people have had the "check engine light" or other repercussions occur after installation? I was hoping for a bolt on and drive away. If its going to be a big problem I'll send it back.

It was a direct bolt on, on my sedan. I have had no problems at all. I love the injen cai, its my favorite mod so far, and it sounds bad-A$$. To fix your problem, just do the ecu reset and that should take care of it.

I can state with pretty good (95%) certaintly that you dd not disconnect the battery before unplugging the MAF, or you accidentally started the car with the MAF unplugged (less likely).

I believe I've read other posts on the topic, which is why I disconnected the negative terminal when I installed my CAI. Thankfully, I haven't had any problems w/ the service light at all. Not sure how to resolve your problem tho, sorry. Good luck.

I set mine off after puttin the MAF on backwards. after a fix and an easy ECU reset it was fine. Search on here how to do it. it takes a good 30 seconds

I've unplugged my MAF Sensor with the battery connected at least a 10 times (twice yesterday) and never triggered the "service engine soon" display. I did forget to reconnect it once and immediately brought in display when I started the engine.
