Help, friend tore his exhaust off his '07 G35
My friend ran into some stuff under his car that tore up his exhaust. Southwest Infinti quoted him ~2900 PLUS labor for replacement. They also offered the Stillen exhaust for ~1100 PLUS labor. Labor would be four hours @ $105 an hour. He does not have collision insurance even though he is leasing the car (no idea how he got away with that). Would the Stillen exhaust be a problem with a leased car?
I can't believe the OEM exhaust costs this much and the price doesn't even include the cats. Can you guys please try to give him some advice. Thanks in advance everyone!!

I think the dealership will only install OEM or aftermarket parts they sell. He wants the dealership to do the work because the car is already there, not driveable, and he has no time. How can an exhaust actually cost as much as they are saying. The G's have 3 cats right? If you had in the cost of each of the (~800) plus the front pipe, it makes the entire exhaust like 6 or 7 grand.
