You say you know these cars are alot different than normal imports. Can you please explain how? Tuning a VQ isnt any different then any car import or domestic. You are dialing in the correct A/F ratio to match your mods. So please explain how it is alot different

MANY MANY MANY MANY people have tried the mods you have mentioned you just havent bothered to search. I have almost the same exact mods as you plan to do, as do hundred of other people on this site. These are basic NA mods that most do. I am not trying to be a jerk towards you but you are acting like you know alot it quite obvious you dont know much. How did you possibly believe your car made more power to the wheels then the engine makes?

Ditto what Derek said.

Also: Maybe the original dyno guy was "estimating" the crank numbers from the wheel numbers.

Did the dyno guy look anything like Bill Murray? "He's about 230hp from the wheels, and it looks like he's got about an 8 iron...it's a miraculous shot...it's in the hole! 283hp!"

The MREV is a ported, non rev up lower plenum. You might see small gains, but defenitely not worth the money. Just get a 5/16 spacer and iso thermal gasket.
