I have a AEM CAI and I didnt really notice any difference performance wise. It does sound nice when at WOT but the gains are not really noticable.

Also if your gonna go FI, you may get more gains from your bolt on mods. For example, if your sticking with NA, and get an exhaust, you may gain 5-10 hp. But if you have a turbo, your gonna see bigger gains w/ the exhaust.

Its best to hear the exhaust in person. But if you cant, check this thread out: https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust/205602-different-kinds-exhaust-sound-clips.html
It has sound clips of mostly all of the exhausts available for the G.
But in my opinion I think the exhaust that sounds closest to stock is the Fuji, but I think you have to get the fuji y pipe + the fuji exhaust for it to fit.

I think the best sounding exhaust would be the amuse, fast intentions, and HKS. Amuse though is expensive, rare, and if you do order one, expect to wait for it. The Fast intention is nice but I dont like the ehaust tips. The HKS is also great for NA but I think the diameter of it is to small for turbos. There is also nismo but I never heard it in person.

Yeah. I am not sure if they made the nismo exhaust specially for the G yet, but you need to buy extensions if your gonna get the Nismo for the 350z to fit on the G. The nismo exhaust for the Z is to short so you have to buy exhaust extension pipes. They go for 50 bucks at the nismo shop.

Yeah im still deciding FI or HKS. Im most likely getting FI since im gonna get a s/c but the HKS imo looks alot nicer:

HKS

Fast Intentions
