Good info Sloober, Thanks!

I learned quite a bit about the FI world with the Cobra. It had an Eaton-Roots style blower. I loved the whine of it and how people would freak out when you hit the gas! You're right though, the hood for the G to fit the stillen is fugly.
So a vortech is probably the best bet. I just can't pull the trigger on it without know that it can be reliable for another 40K miles till trade in.

Actually with the Vortech, if you bought the full kit, comes with a 3 year warranty!

O'rly! Hmmm....

What does that cover though??....and is there specified shops that have to do the install for the warranty to be valid? I would probably head over to Jeremy's since that is the place to go in O-town.

I think you get a 3-year/36,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. You have to get the installation done by a authorized vortech installer. Your in Orlando so Performance Factory is right up your alley and I am sure Jeremy can give you a good deal. Im located in Boca so I have to make a 3-4 hour drive up to Orlando to do it..bleh.
On a side note, How did the OP get banned ? Was he posting to much lol

I may just make a trip up there and chat with him. If not soon, maybe the next dyno day there or something.
