if you have an 03-04, or a 05-06 5at with the nonrevup engine, then a motordyne 5/16" spacer is the best bang for the buck performance mod. If you have a 05-06 6mt with the revup engine, then the MREV2 + 5/16" spacer is your best bet

 

Save up and go FI.

Or get a z-tube. 5/16th spacer, and K&N drop in filter.

 

that seems to be pretty solid on everyones comments. do you have either the spacer of the mrev? or both? if so, did u diy or pay a shop to install?

 

turbotom, what is the best FI setup for daily driving in ur opinion. i was just thinking about waiting and going fi last night. feedback?

One thing I found when I went FI is that alot of the NA parts come with the FI kits intake, testpipes, ect.

FI is abig job, but for the money its the best bang for the buck.

 

so ur saying by waiting and going FI, id get most of the things ppl do on a N/a vehicle in the fi package? thats what makes it cost effective?

also i heard superchargers were better bc theres no turbo lag. true?

 

Well if you add up all the money you would spend on NA mods, you will see that you spend alot of money for not that much extra hp.

Na mods don't really add that much extra hp, but when you go FI you get huge gains.

With a turbo you do get lag, but its not bad at all.

The TT kits have almost no lag, and I enjoy the lag on my ST becasue once it spools the car goes like a rocket.

Get some good sway bars as first mod. They really improve ur cars handling. I know its not performance but we. lol. If not do an exhaust, intake and spacer.

 

FI ur looking at no less then 7G's installed tuned and everything. NO LESS!!
