just make sure you get one that matches the inlet of your topspeed exhaust.

check out the pictures in post 10 to get an idea of what the y pipe looks like without the headshielding attached.

it was always my understanding that the y-pipe was the most restrictive part (aside from cats) in the exhaust system...it certainly looks that way to me.

That being the case, wouldn't a true dual exhaust set-up like, Fast Intentions, Stillen or Borla kill two birds with one stone?

Aftermarket Y-Pipe....?

Since you already have a cat-back system unless you're going to FI there's
no reason to change to a true dual like HKS or Fast Intentions. Getting an
aftermarket Y-Pipe might be worth 2 HP and the most. I only purchased my
Fuji y-pipe because I went from the Borla system to Magnaflow (sponsor)
and didn't have a y-pipe.

it is worth it cuz the ypipe is the most restrictive part like what idrive said i have the y pipe back exhaust and when i got the y pipe i can feel the difference the airflow is much better

You're getting into a whole other argument there. There are a lot of things that make one exhaust better than the other, a lot of different varibles. Flow efficiency, back pressure, materials, diameter/volume, muffler chamber designs, muffler packing materials and even overall quality (i.e. smooth flange transitions and mandral bends).

I think it all comes down to what brand you want to go with, the sound you want and the price you're willing to pay for marginal HP gains when comparing different brands to each other.

I personally would like to see someone build a more racey designed y-pipe setup other than the single exit designs. I want y-pipe simplicity with dual tips, i think the current ones out there (rsr comes to mind) are just too raspy for my taste.
