Removing Intake resonator
I am not sure which bolt you are referring to since it has been sooooo long since I worked on mine but I remember it was all pretty straight forward. If you werent planning to do so, I would recommend you get a Z-Tube (intake tube from a 350Z) and replace the entire line. This will give you more of a grunt to the engine and will probably give you a few more ponies due to less restriction.
There is probably a how-to somewhere on line on who do it (I thought I remember seeing one way back when).

I don't remember all details because it was 3 years ago; I do remember not having to take the wheel off, for sure...

I called my cousin; he helped with this 3 years ago...
He said he remembers having to collapse the inner fender... It's plastic and bends out of the way so you can reach and get some hard to reach bolts. he remembers holding it out of my way while I worked on something hard to get to. The inner fender pops right back when you release it.
I hope this helps

You can get to it by turning the wheel hard to the right, jacking up the left side (or just do the entire front end by sliding a jack under the engine crossmember) so the suspension goes to full droop.
Then pull the little snaps out that hold the front part of the inner fender in and you can fold it down and back far enough to get to where you're going.
I'd have to ask though WHY would you only want to remove that part by itself, when there's another one farther back that hangs down off the intake tube. Go ahead and put up the $130 or so for the Stillen kit with the plastic (smooth) Z-tube. The stillen CAI is awesome. You can still use the ram-air part that sits over the radiator along with getting some SERIOUS growl outta' the G after the install. Might want to reset the ECU though when you do it. I've found it's not totally necessary as it'll 'relearn' the intake parameters as to air/fuel mixture it just takes a tank of gas at least. Easier to reset it with the Stillen kit and it'll be happy happy happy!!!
I've found it growls especially good when running premium gas... either that or pop in some octane boost here and there. I've ran 93 octane with octane boost and it'll SCREAM! Problem is...
once it's used to higher octane it takes a while, like AT LEAST another tank for it to be anywhere near happy with 87 octane!
Much easier to step back to mid-grade and just leave it there.

you can take it out...its part of the g tube right of under the filter.... if ur using the g-tube just put some tape inside the g-tube to be ghetto to make it sound louder hhahaha
