1/2" spacer + service engine soon light?!
hey all,
i recently installed an MD 1/2" spacer with my buddy and after a few runs, the service engine soon light had lit up.
i consulted another G buddy about this and the idle and he said that that is just my car getting used to more air coming in and that the light is just temporary.
has any one else had this problem/ or can anyone give me any input?
tried the search function already and i couldnt really find any help.
thanks in advance!

Hi Jon,
Its most probably related to either the throttle body harness plug or the MAF plug.
Check the electrical connections. ...And just to be sure, also check your hoses connected to the upper plenum. Make sure everything is properly conneted.

That sounded a llittle funky didn't it?Either way its most likely that the ECU is objecting to something its seeing on an electrical basis. And its usually a lose wire of some kind.
EDIT: And once you fix the connection the CEL will still take some time for it to go away. It doesn't immediatly shut off.
