It is not the same thing, the sound is different and the tips are different.

and tell me wat other exhaust u can buy brand new for like $500 for this car..

u dont just pay for HKS..all of the other ones are upwards of wat ull pay for an xo2

 

I've gotta agree there. I'm all for people buying what they want if that is truly what they want. But I have a problem with people calling the HKS and XO2 exhausts the same thing when there are a number of differences. I also have a problem when people want HKS, but don't want to fork out the money for it and just go the XO2 route.

If you want HKS, then save up and pay up. But if you truly like the XO2 exhaust better than HKS, then more power to you and get it! I really mean that.

People could argue that I should have saved my money for the Amuse exhaust instead of getting the HKS system...but that's a different story. I didn't get the HKS because it looks/sounds like Amuse...because it doesn't. I see a lot of people wanting HKS buy the XO2 because of the price and it makes me sad.

Even though I love the Amuse exhaust, I bought the HKS because it makes me happy. I just don't agree with people settling for the XO2 when they want HKS. And don't get me wrong, that isn't to say that everyone with the XO2 exhaust "settled" for it. I know there are plenty of people that truly like it better than the HKS system, and that's awesome.

i have a friend that wanted to do that..wants an HKS..but didnt have enough money..so wanted the xo2..talked him out of that because he's settling for something he didn't truly want.

if you WANT the xo2..get it..if u want the hks..get it.

 

selling my xo2 ...or will trade it for a turbo exhaust plus cash...

 

Yes its not 100% the same.. more like 85-90%.. Sounds different and HKS is better quality with better tips.

I wanted HKS because it looked awesome but didn't really like the sound that much.. When I found out about XO2 and heard the exhaust I was sold.

I just get pissed off when people bash on my **** and call me cheap which is not the case at all. XO2 is not bad quality.. no where near bad quality actually. The welds are great and the quality is very good too.. HKS is just better in overall quality.

 

It's cool bro, not everyone can blow a bunch of money on something that will depreciate in value. It's stupid but im addicted!

 

man i love forums.. all you nut huggers.. i have hks and yeah its good but my friends have x02 and the have have no problems with it and they have had the same gains i have had, i am pissed i paid alot more than they did and it looks the same. they bought the true titanium tips and it looks better ... so quit being hatters man.. bashing items that you have never used nor seen..

 

You should be pissed, no one pays retail for the HKS! hahahahahahaha
