does anybody besides tampagsedan have the megan racing cat back exhaust..? ive been considering it and i just wanted someones opinion on what they thought about the exhaust.. i know megans has had problems in the past and i really dont care to hear any test pipe stories or info.. i really just want to know what you guys think of the megan catback exhaust.. i actually think it sounds really nice

I don't have it, I have the Stillen BUT i was lookin' into gettin' it for my Wife's G sedan... after a lot of thought, i'm just gonna go w/the coupe mid-pipe and aftermarket y-pipe & axle-back setup. the Megan sounds nice in a rev BUT i think it would just have too much drone day to day.

 

dang cool family.. 2 G35's and the wife wanting aftermarket exhaust.. good pickin buddy.. haha

yea im not sure yet about the drone.. i really like the sound of the one in the fourth video.. its better quality.. even though ill probably be buying the exact one in the first three from my friend.

Thanks... as for the drone, i think it'd be too much for my Wife day to day. i'm sure i wouldn't have too much of a problem w/it. yeah, and if you've heard ur buddie's Megan Exauhst in person and like it, you should go for it. you really can't beat that price for a cat-back system on the G.

 

nah he actually lives in tampa and im in birmingham.. ive never heard it in person... i dont know about the whole drone thing either like if it will even annoy me.. i sorta like how the exhaust isnt very loud in the high rpms.. i just think it has an overall great sound.. im mainly concerned about quality.

dont get it, it svcks eh, megan racing products are crap, and only people who own it will say its good Ok but thats MY OPINION, just so you stubborn people wont say anything, but most people know deep inside megan racing = cheap, if anyone says its not, thats ignorant

Their exhaust products are pretty bad but their coilovers and their brakes are actually quite good.

 

i know they have had problems with their test pipes BUT i have NEVER seen or heard a problem with their catback exhaust.. if their is anything anywhere with any negatives about the y pipe, mid pipe, or muffler plz show me where.. cause i just cant find it anywhere..

Ooops I revise myself, sorry ONLY PEOPLE WHO OWN IT WILL SAY ITS GOOD, besides it sucks, Lawy'dU is right but then to a point theres no point buying their ****, i know what lawy'dU is thinking, brakes and coil overs are OK for them, but why buy it if theres a buttload of better stuff out there? I mean are you broke? If you're broke get megan

 

All the vids make me gag, RASP?!?! I switched 3 exhaust systems so i can get rid of rasp damn't hahhaha and to put a megan racing as a brand and then have rasp, hell no. IN MY OPINION

 

im a 17 year old junior who plays varsity baseball and basketball so i cant work at all during the school year.. ill make about 2 grand this summer.. i need to save a lot of that to last me throughout the school year on food and girls... so yea i guess i am broke.. and dont even think about telling me the G is more important than girls

ok so what exhaust would you buy if you had a sedan.. stillen gen 2?

i mean i honestly think the megan sounds better than the stillens..

 

Not familiar with the Megan really. Trey did a TON of research before he did his exhaust. I sent you a PM, let us know how to get a hold of you and maybe he has some info for you. He rarely gets on here anymore He works too much!
