The Plenum Roar / Gurgling / Whining

Hey guys! I just installed my Kinetix Plenum. For the most part it went really smoothly. I'm so happy that I didn't have any leaks. I sealed it with silicone of course, and everything worked out very well.
I noticed my engine is now purring, or roaring depending on how far the throttle is open. I haven't quite decided what I think about it yet. Sometimes it sounds mean, sometimes I feel like it sounds like a low class civic farting.
What do you guys think? I heard with this plenum it's more of a whining sound. I was imagining more of a wind whining, whistling sound. But after much listening and contemplation, I think it's more so of a gurgling and roaring sound. Some of you with the earlier crawford plenums have referred to it as a baby diesel. I heard that with the later versions of the crawford, this doesn't happen. For those of you with the plenum, what does it sound like now? Is there any additional sound from the front of the car?
Thanks guys.

The only way I can describe the sound of my Crawford V5 is wind blowing thru an empty field. I think it sounds great.

Mine sounds the same way. I didn't like it so I went ahead and bought a little Dynamat and used it on the underside of the engine cover. It quieted it down a decent amount, but it is still audible (especially between shifts at about 2000 rpm). Another member went ahead and installed the B-Quiet hood liner (bought on eBay). He/She said that it really quieted everything down, so much so that it was quieter than stock. Those are two methods to quieting the plenum. Let us know how it all works out.

"Civic Farting" LOL... For that reason alone, I think the Crawford is, hands down, the better choice.

Civic Farting... this has to be the post of the year!!!

Hey guys. Yeah, I remember reading your post where you put DynoMat on the underside of the hood and on the firewall. Huh... but that B-Quite thing sounds interesting. I'll definitely have to look into that.
ON A SIDE NOTE! I drove a NASCAR, well, almost NASCAR this weekend. I did the Richard Petty NASCAR experience. It was pretty crazy. I don't konw if any of you guys have ever driven a race car, but it's unbelievable. My print out said my top speed was 130 mph and it's INSANE the amount of lateral G's those things can take. I mean, you strapped down and stuck in your bucket seat, but I've never felt that many lateral G's in my life. I kept feeling that I should feel the tires start giving any moment now, but it just stuck! It was pretty cool. After comparing those cars, I feel like my car sounds so suttle and passive. :-)
Anyway, thanks guys.
Neffster, did you like that "Honda farting". Some people end up making their cars sound just like that, it literally sounds like the car is farting. :-)

I pictured an old civic driving down the road ahead of me, slowing to a crawl, lifting up one rear tire, and seeing a black puff of smoke "vent" out of the exhaust. ...oh the love of fart jokes.

I'm considering a new plennum but I don't want the sound of my engine to overwhelm the sound of my exaust.. What's been your experiences in this regard?
