Crawford v5 effect on low end?

Any Crawford owners out there care to comment on this plenum's effect on low end hp and torque? Clearly, there are significant gains at the upper end of the engine range, but just wondering if there is a downside at the low end.

Another question, along the same lines, do any Crawford owners believe it necessary to bundle this modification along with an aftermarket exhaust for best results, or does this just hurt the low end?

Thanks.
