if u have stillen hfc's and exhaust i was wondering if u get a rasspy sound at about 3500rpms. someone told me its because of the hollowed out cats & that test pipes were even worse. true?

well I had test pipes on my G for awhile, but it was really raspy at mid RPM range.

I would suspect that HFCs would have alittle bit of rasp, but not compared to test pipes.

I put the Stillen Test Pipes on with Stock exhaust and it was the worst sounding exhaust I have ever heard...extremely raspy between 3000-4000rpm.....the Stillen Cat back system should be here in a couple days I hoping this will correct the problem but if not the stock cats are going back on.
Anyone run this set up....Stillen test pipes with Stillen Cat back??

If you buy test pipes, get resonated or you will have rasp no matter what.
