fast intention HFC question/opinion

I'm getting ready to order some HFCs from Fast Intentions and wanted to know from other owners of FI HFCs if, for my tastes, I should go with the 400 or 300 cell, metallic vs. ceramic.

I am concerned about the sound, I want it to remain classy and aggresive like stock tone. I just really don't want any rasp. Also, which would make better power? I imagine the 300 cell metallic would be best for power?

I will be ordering the cat back FI system after this as well.

What do you guys think?

If my F.I Exhaust with F.I Resonated Test Pipes barely has any rasp, I highly doubt HFC will have any

You're not going to wait for the Motordyne setup? I've been tempted to just get the FI but I'm going to wait to see the results of Tony's hard work.

lol. i know what you mean and YES, I have been waiting. I was ready to order FI back in May until out of nowhere Tony (at MD) tells me he's working on an exhaust. So yes I have been waiting. There's no telling how long it'll be and the FI is still just as good as it was before MD announced they were coming out with one.

I'm in the same boat you are! I was just about to order the FI and then I saw Tony's thread....then saw the pics! Now I'm just waiting to see the gains and sound and I'll go from there.

Actually looking back at that thread I have been waiting a few months longer than I thought, it was back in March when I was ready to order, so I have been patient, but now I'm getting restless.
