Exclamation Intake Filter problem?

Hi guys,
2 months ago I installed AEM SRI with the Dryflow Synthetic Air Filter .
since I installed i had a nice and loud growling noise @4k RPM ~ ... that i loved ..
but since yesterday it doesnt make the same sound ...it sounds like something is baffling the air flow ...
could it be the air filter? can an intake air filter gets dirty in 2 months ?

helppp needed plssss

Is the filter dirty? Have you tried to replace or clean it?

thanks guys ..
i just took a look ... since the filter is GREY i can't really tell if its dirty ...
i touched it .. my fingers dont get DIRTY ! .. but i can see some dust sticked on my fingers ...
but i've read people use to clean or replace the filter after 1 year ...
but could an air filter get dirty enought to impede the air flow in 2 months ?

hmm ... lets talk i drove 3k miles since i installed the intake...
i went travelling on the labor day .. i had to drive on a dirt road (about 2 miles). but it wasnt that bad .. but lets say my car got really dirty of dust ...

it could be that .. but the filter doesnt look dusty ... its practically new .. im gonna check if all the clamps are properly tight...

but this is annoying me .. im worried it can be any major damage in the engine .. =(

Replace it and you'll be hearing that sweet sound of the intake soon!
