Mark that thing looks huge compared to the Pop Charger and Blitz (I think thats what the other white one is) filter. What are your initial impressions?

 

yeah, only drove on it a bit today BUT the flow was def better than the JWT and on par, if not better than the Blitz. the Blitz did have a sweet hiss to it at high RPM, the R2C is nice and quiet. it is way bigger than the JWT & Blitz. the company that makes these makes the high tech filters we use in our Military HMMWV's(humvee). i know from experience that these filters can hold some dirt and are a real cinch to clean. the show quality isn't all there, yet... but it's def a well put together piece of gear. i'm really glad i made the switch. I loved the Blitz BUT i just kept worrying about the filtration level. i've got a bunch of info commin' in from these guys, so lemme know if ur interested in an upgrade.

 

did you protect the A/C line!?

 

F*cking popcharger shield cut into my AC line. Damn 800 fix. Bastards. I love the filter though. BEAUTIFUL cf cover. Where did you get that?

Interesting. You chose the stillen replacement for your JWT unit. I'd probably do that too since it's larger.

i asked for the R2C filter sized for the JWT kit. i bet they made them bigger to add more flow since the top is sealed off, unlike the normal pop-charger filter or the Blitz.

 

hahaha, nah it was way cleaner(physically) before the Stillen Day Meet. i needa clean it up again, soon. i wanna put some badges over the silver part of the engine cover.

^^^Got it for $65 through a vendor. R2C did send me an extra one of different dimensions for demos and they're gonna send another JWT sized one next week for other people to try out w/the PC setup.
