I got K&N Typhoon right? and I installed it alright. I was driving around and noticed some sound from the intake it is weird. Can anybody help me eliminating this sound.
The situation is, when I go first gear, it's fine(I have 5AT), Then, gear switches and Then, on 2nd If I was flooring lilttle bit, I hear this chi~chi~chi~ sound. sound like old car pulling hard.-.-; then when I get in to high gear the sound disappers. I pretty bothers me. I also get this "puchi~"sound for short instant when I suddenly floor it(this sound is nice).But, that chi~chi~chi~ sound is keep on going unless I push gas really slow or get to high gear. So please help me what to do~~~

Mine does not do this. Check all your clamps and make sure none are loose. Sounds like it could be an air leak.

The "puchi~" sound you get when you suddenly hit the gas is normal. The design iof the filter makes this sound as the engine sucks in air..similar to whistleing. As for the "chi~chi~chi" sound is not normal. You probably didn't clamp down the pipe braces hard enough. Make sure the filter is firmly clamped on the tube as wel. You shouldn't be able to move the filter up and down the tube or left and right.

No probs here since Dec. 03. It is MUCH loader when the eng.
is cold or warming up, but mellows out with heat and less foot.
