not worth the money.

z-tube is good.....the pop-charger is not. In hot weather, the pop-chargers let hot air into the intake and in some cases have caused the cars to stall.

Just get a z-tube and run a hi-flow airfilter in the factory airbox.

I have the Stillen set up on mine and its great. The main thing that i like is the noise from it. Makes the car sound really mean. I have gotten countless compliments about how go my car sounds and this is the only engine mod that i have done.

you gotta use the search button - this is one of the most talked about subjects here. first, is it worth it? up to you to decide. despite manufacturer claims, you will probably not see much of an increase in HP. it works best when combined with other breather mods such as exhaust, HFC, spacer, etc. As far as problems, there are known issues w/ clearance around the AC line. So when you do the install you have to leave enough clearance so it will not rub a hole in the line.

I got my entire Z-Tube/PC setup for $105 new. It's basically just for sound, neither mod will do **** when it comes to performance and the PC may even hurt it in hot weather conditions. But I like the sound.

Would I do it again? Probably not.

But it's on there already so am I happy with it? Yep.

did you install the heat shield too?

i had some fitment issues with it, it was tighter than i think it should've been, but i got it working

i think it was designed for the g's tube which may be longer than the z-tube

That stalling claim is BS....

Regardless, your paying money to lose horsepower. When combine w/ a Ztube/Gtube it looks ugly...

You will heat soak really bad, and it makes a weak sound compared to other intakes.. Definitely not as loud as others.

I know this from experience.. I had that combo on my car for 2 months.

I instantly felt gains from going back to stock, and switching to AEM cold air.

Thats my experience.. No lies or BS.

The heat shield went on fine for me, I never moved the MAF housing that the PC hooked up to so I didn't have any issues.

Also it's funny because for the longest time everybody was all "oh yeah the PC is the loudest intake you can get" and now everyone is saying that other intakes are even louder. It's funny how that works.

Just get the Z-tube. If you're an 06 6MT, there are members that are switching to the OEM airbox that you have. You're already ahead of the game so just get the tube.
