Question Everyone Vote: Cleanest / Best Sounding Intake w/o Low End Loss!

Please do not say to SEARCH because I have searched and searched and searched for the past week and I have not found EXACTLY what I'm looking for. I apologize if there are a billion intake threads.

My #1 reason for buying an intake after modding 7-8 cars is SOUND. I know that the power gain is typically minimal but I really want something not necessarily loud, but something UNIQUE sounding. I don't want to sound like a Z necessarily, but I want something that really compliments the OEM G35 exhaust.

So far it seems like for the $ the K&N + Z-Tube is my best bet for gas mileage and for overall power gain but again I know how controversial the whole intake subject is - so I basically just want to know for those of you who have been in multiple G35's with all different intakes, which sounds the best?

I'm planing to do 5/16 spacer, MREV2 manifold, and intake for sound, and then start saving for Vortech S/C or a basic turbo kit.

Stillen Intake.

I didn't feel any powerloss. It has a better-than-your-average heat shield in comparison to other aftermarket ones. And it sounds good.

Most aftermarket intakes sound the same to me.

But when people are recommending the Stillen intake are they recommending it with the Z-Tube? In other words is it more effective with the Z-Tube?

I like my JWT popcharger. I didn't feel any loss in power and it sounds great, especially at about 3-4k RPM.

Always get the Ztube! No reason not to change the sissy tube with the Ztube.
