Man i busted a nut now.

Tony since the TDX still uses the y-pipe, does that mean that you only get one sound? I mean where the Y connects to the TDX, thats where the resonator used to go, so since it replaces it does that change the tone? I know the mufflers or straight pipes will also make a diffrence but my concern is drone at DD rmps.

Now WOT is a diffrent story.

Also for best gains for just a G with bolt ons, would you recommend y-pipe with schockwave, or the Full TDX?

It's a mustang dyno, so it reads awful low. Most Stock Gs that come to this shop dyno around those number, so i'm not too worried. My final numbers with all my mods are 248.

Sorry. No TDX for the Sedan.

Sedan Y Back systems:

Shockwave single $666
VQ system $777
Harakiri sedan $888

The list numbers were favorably roundable.

Admittedly I haven’t kept up with all the different MDE exhaust options - but now that the sedan version is being introduced I will be paying much more attention.

I take it TDX is true dual X cat back?... but that only a Y pipe configuration is available? Tony is this based on performance value (from your testing) or from general user wants/needs/interest?...

Its a True X system.
The non resonated uses the same collector flipped over and clamped into the same position.
The resonated is the second half of the X with acoustic damping.

Otherwise the design merge point is fixed at that position for performance reasons.

Are you looking for the Gamma dual or Gamma TDX system?

Gamma refers to the type of axle back section. In this case the Gamma has stainless steel mufflers.

ShockWave has no mufflers in the axleback section.

Harakiri has the Titanium mufflers in the Axle back section.

Wow Tony that TDX system looks nice. Wonder how it would sound. How much for just the TDX section.
