Sickeningly gorgeous, every piece, every weld. Tony, you out do yourself with every component you release. If I had not just purchased wheels, I'd be all over this. Gotta save up some more it seems.

Waiting. They should be in production stage for the HFC and test pipes I would think...

right Tony? a few days and we should have TP v.1 ready?

I read somewhere that the HFC isn't working out... don't know how true that is, but it wasn't disputed so I'm inclined to believe it's true.

That's the 2nd heart-breaker - first no phenolic lower collector and now no HFC

phenolic lower manifold? for heat soak or what? I haven't heard anything about the HFC being a NO-GO.

hrmm. I would assume that the phenolic lower plenum would be a MREV2 manifold but much smoother all around. Probably have a velocity design for each port as well. It'd be cool. Probably cost more to develop/produce than the average person would be willing to pay, making it inefficient to develop.

it was already developed... had problems releasing from the mold... ended up being a project killer ...

was sticking to the mold? was it the same design as the stock with the MREV2 changes? Other options as well?

I dont know details of the design (other than material)... I'm not sure it was ever released (the design info that is)... I presume it was MREV2-ish...

I dont know trifling details about the mold release issue... I was very interested in the product and I called Tony about something different and ended up discussing the project... he said there was an issue with the product releasing from the mold that was not correctable - project had to be scrapped...

If there is more to mention I'll let Tony detail... I only know as much as I've mentioned ~

wow that's too bad. I think Toll is about right with the design. I think Tony picked up a few tricks from the plenum DIYers out there on the Z forum

Tony offers a HFC module with his "Y" pipe. You can run that with his soon to be release Test Pipes.

i realize I could run that in the XYZ pipe... I'm just not a fan of rasp, which is gonna be there with ANY test pipe. The resonated test pipes that are going to be released are gonna kill most (hopefully ALL) the rasp.
