Be a man and accept responsibility for your own actions. If you lie to the dealer and they catch you, they'll make a note of it in their system so next time when you do have a legit warranty claim, expect a s**tload of questions and headache. I've heard stories when an original owner did something stupid, was denied warranty, sold the car to someone else and they bring it in for warranty work only for it to be denied for the same reason and then the second, third or one time fifth buyer is standing there SOL. This is of course provided it's an extended factory Nissan/Infiniti warranty you purchased. Although, judging by your posts inquiring about the "cheapest way" to lower your car, there's a good chance you bought a 3rd party warranty. Good luck dealing with that. There are more than a handful of service guys here on the boards and and if one of them recognizes your '04 Coupe with Tenzo R 19s, HKS Full Exhaust, Skunk2 Engine Spacer and Megan Headers from El Monte California, expect a few raised eyebrows. In any case, keep us posted and let us know how it goes.

I've been on the other side of the fence and had to watch the service guys deal with people who b**ch and moan because they f**ked up their own car and expect someone else to pay for their ignorant racing or modding habits. I'd often joke that if women came with warranties these same people would b**ch and expect the manufacturer to pay for an abortion if they got em pregnant. I'm smart enough to play it safe so I don't end up in such a situation. The rules of "you play, you pay" apply here plain and simple. Sucks for the OP but it's the truth.

Does the engine still turn over when you try and start the car? Or is there just a solid thud when the starter tries to engage? Does the starter even engage? Could just be a ruined MAF. It takes alot of water to make its way all the way up the intake and into the throttle body into the intake manifold to make its way down to the compression chamber to stop the spark from igniting.
hahahaha my friend hydrolocked his 98 corolla because of his intake its just a risk you take when modding your car and i think everyone should know that water in your intake isnt a good thing water air and gas dont mix all that well. so good luck with getting a new motor insurance will take care of it they will just put a used motor in for you something around 30k to 50k miles
+10. you definitely wanna go back to stock and hope that they believe your BS. I was warned about that when I put my CAI. I'm thinking about going back to stock as well. Good luck

Amazes me that someone would put all those mods on their car but not know about hydrolock. Isn't there a thread out there about how the G is becoming the next Civic?
