If I remember correctly your Modified Mag 2007 dyno of the MREV2 with the 5/16" spacer (when compared against baseline Stillen exhaust and intake) showed a very significant increase of peak HP?

Would you have the dynapack data files for the pre/post sets? Please email them to me if they are still available.

Thanks,
Tony

Sorry Tony, what I mean to say is that the MREV plenum will decrease top end power compared to what the revup plenum would show at the peak HP area, (i've seen it to only start making more power ABOVE 6400rpm). With the modified G35 IIRC (it's been a while so forgive me) we lost a little bit of peak power when we swapped to the MREV2, but gained huge amounts of TQ (like 30 ft lbs) across almost the entire powerband, and I believe it caused the peak HP to go up, but at an earlier RPM. I'm wondering if a revup plenum would show larger peak gains right at redline for trey than the MREV2, otherwise I'm not sure why he's had such a hard time gaining power.

Clearly the MREV is the way to go, but because it is based off of the non-revup, it doesn't make the same power at high RPM, is that correct?

I'll load up the dyno and find those files and see if I have a run with JUST adding the MREV2, IIRC we do, but I'll have to check.

And Tony the exhaust was gorgeous as well, It sounds fantastic (no rasp or buzziness, but quiet at idle and cruising), and the fitment was perfect. I'm sure you're going to sell a ton of these!

SG - You have your headers coupled with the Motordyne XYZ pipe? or the entire exhaust?

Also, what is the cost of your long-tube headers for the VQ? I couldn't really find the price anywhere.

Tony, do you have sound clips of the exhaust?

I talked to you over the phone and found this thread....really looking forward to the sound that this makes.

The silver car in the first post has stock cats paired to the XYZ pipe. The red race car in the video, correct me if I'm wrong, as the long tubes connected to their 3.5" straight exhaust.

After looking at the video of the red 350z I don't think the long tubes will bolt up to the XZY pipe. At 6 seconds in you see a clear shot of the exhaust and I don't see any flanges. It almost looks like the engine has to be out of the car to install the long tubes. Is this right?

Hey guys,

the longtubes when finished will go to the factory Y-pipe 2bolt flanges, we designed those that way because the race team we developed those headers for requested them that way. PM me for details regarding price and availability!

The G had stock cats and exhaust manifolds as mentioned!

Happy valentines day lovers!

So, SG, does the motor have to be pulled to install the Long-Tube headers?

Look at SG's last post. The set in the video was a custom set configured to the customers request. From what I have read and understand, the longtubes SG will produce will bolt up to the factory y-pipe.

He mentions that it will bolt to the stock Y-pipe but unless I am missing something I don't see any reference to the fitting of the parts relative to the motor being in or out of the car...I could be blind or dense as it is a Monday...but I just wanted confirmation.

I would guess you need to drop the motor for the install
