Jesus some of you guys are jackasses.

Just look at this as a lesson learned. One, you should have researched a bit and you would have found out the 05/06 sedan has a much smaller resonator and a larger muffler. Two, you should think hard before cutting up portion of your car.

I suggest just getting a coupe midpipe. It won't sound much different than what you had before, but it should be cheap and I'd feel more safe doing it that way rather than getting the resonator rewelded in when there might be the risk of them restricting the piping and charging you another $150.

If you want more exhaust noise, put on the 03/04 sedan muffler.

ok so i found out the rasp was there only when I just started the car and it was cold. After everything warmed up rasp went away. Although it did not make the car louder it def made the stock done a lot deeper and more noticeable. I am actually kinda happy with it now

It'll sound meaner with coupe mid-pipe... it won't be louder, but the tone does change. I agree with the coupe mid-pipe and 03-04 muffler though... especially if we're talking about the HKS!

And a better lesson to be learned is to not believe everything you read online!!! Especially when they talk about going straight pipe for a "better" sound!
