i was sold on getting the z tube/pop charger combo but after searching through the forums im starting to wonder if the z tube/k&n filter combo is better.....which would you choose?

 

Id pick Z Tube/K&N Filter/Amsoil Filter but i couldn't keep my stock airbox with the Relentless Autosports strutbar i have

 

you had me at hello lol.....you lost me after K&N Filter

 

I use ztube, kn drop in, revup airbox, along with my spacer and few other bolt-ons. sounds great! Especially with my nismo catback.

 

There's a third choice and it doesn't present any issues with heat and the filter is K&N but much larger than the drop in....Stillens CAI/Z-Tube combo. Cost is slightly higher but the end result is well worth it....

It has been proven time and time again by dynos here that the stock air box/z tube with (your choice here) high flow air filter creates more HP. Most "pop(pycock) charger" type of after market air cleaners are more for noise (which I like) than for performance.

 

i went to the website under intakes and didnt see it.

 

Just checked it for you, go by vehicle....Infiniti....G35C....Stillen Z-Tube intake system....Part # 402834....$241=
This system makes the most HP with cooler air, larger filter (really big) and sounds amazing. I've been using it for 4+ years.

no intake is really going to make a difference power wise anyway
