It still looks like the right tip still has the usual issues with the screws not lining up horizontally, same as all of the "cheaper" ones. In fact both the left and right ones are slightly off and tilted clockwise. You might want to have ur mechanic straighten them out.

hmm it seems to me now that the annoying drone while speeding up at low speeds is fading now that the exhaust is getting broken in. now i only get the bad drone if im in a very high gear for the speed im at and am heavy on the pedal. i guess i will not upload my first video because in all honesty the exhaust doesnt sound bad like that any longer. ill give it another week or so and then get a new video. now i definitely recommend this exhaust, the fitment stuff can easily be worked out and this sounds awesome

I just went to a muffler shop to get my rattling issue corrected. It was actually a 5 second job. just loosened the screws, moved it away from the bar, then re-tightened. He didnt even charge me anything because it literally took longer to lift the car than to correct the issue. But the mechanic said this was the best looking exhaust he had ever seen. He was literally walking arround underneath the car gazeing at it for 5 mins in awe.

No more rattle, fits perfect. sounds AMAZING! I also have noticed that as i drive more, the drone goes away ( what little drone there was to start with ). Im sure its just the resonators getting broken in. the first day, I noticed a burning smell coming from the exhaust, that is now also gone. I'm sure its just the raw cold metal getting seated and used to the heat of the exhaust. It just takes a hundred miles or so to break in the dead chambers, resonators, etc....

in responce to the holes drilled on my tips. I assure you it is just the angle that my picture was taken at. They are drilled perfectlly straight. no issues at all.

my final advice: get the exhaust from hotel's origional link on page 1!!!! I am not having any fittment issues, it sounds perfect, and looks amazing. sure you pay $100 bucks more, but at the benefit of having it alligned straight and not having to heat up, weld, and bend pipes. cost me approx 600$ all said and done (including having a shop put it on rather than doing it myself). I feel it is VERY well worth it considering it looks identical to the HKS and sounds better and costs 1/3 the price!

Thanks Hotel for finding this AMAZING exhaust and posting up a link to, what I belive, is a very high quality model of the XO2. I would reccomend this to EVERYONE.

HAHAHAH i needed new tires like 10k miles ago ROFL... but I just got new custom painted NISMO LMGT4 monoblock forged wheels and Toyo proxie T1r's.... so those will be on within the week. Combined with this exhaust, I feel my ride is getting an entire new makeover

Tom after hearing the sound clip i am actually thinking of getting this exhaust and changing the tips also. I am in the market for a system and i was going to get the fujutsubo for 1k because i love the sound, but i may get this system. i have non-res test pipes on my car so i know it will be much louder but i am thinking of installing two more res- in the system after the y pipe to quiet it down some. thoughts?

Instead of putting 2 more res, just get the magnaflow "X pipe" That should quiet it down a bit, and will minimise drone.

I actually think that adding more resonators makes the sound that much sweeter - I know that the setup sounded much nicer once I added the resonated tip.

Also be aware that the system sounds better and better as you put miles on it. I am so impressed with the mellowing sound that I will be making another clip to show the difference. I would do it, post a clip after you are done!

What if you don't like these tips at all, Does it look terrible without the tips? Im not a fan of the holes being set at different angles. (Signed up to the forum because of my interest in this exhaust system.)

You can get aftermarket tips like I did. I am told that Topspeed makes nice aftermarket tips as well.
