have you thought of blacking out the mufflers and leaving the tips???

dude, he's just giving you his opinion and suggestions... if you don’t want them fine - but when you post in a public forum you're going to get responses (and not always good)... I didn’t see anything demeaning in his posts though so you shouldn’t be so defensive.

Lots of us have done custom stuff to our cars... not everyone is going to think its terrific - and that’s fine... but it’s not worth getting pissy over.

ok after driving around with this for a few weeks i have gotta say i like the setup... just dont go with the cheapest ebay mufflers. they drone way too bad! other than that its nice.

I still love my magnaflow mufflers but with dual 3" and no cats it does drone a lot too.

ttrank so how do you manage no cats... do you put them back on before emissions testing? also have you noticed a mpg change without them?

My car is registered in a county where there is no emissions testing.
Also turbos act like mufflers so with dual turbos there is no rasp and it's not that loud.

My car has been like this since before the motor build so I don't have anything to compare it to as far as mpg. I don't see how it would change it though.

not all the arizona area does that and talking about that.. Tim you have anybody live in that county to register your car or they dont care?

I didnt say (or even imply) that all of AZ does that... I know the county he registers it in and I know the process he uses...
