Exclamation XO2 Exhaust Rattle Help

Hi everyone

I installed the XO2 exhaust back in April and now my exhaust sounds like its rattling? Every time I hit a bump I would hear the exhaust shake a little bit here and there. Its starting to get annoying. I have checked it so many times and I still can't figure it out. Am I overlooking something completely?

To those who have the same exhaust, are you guys experiencing the same problem? If so, how did you get rid of that rattle? It sounds like its coming from under the driver side, but nothing is loose. Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks to those who help!

I checked all the muffler hangers (rubber mounts) and one of them was ripped. I just replaced it, but it still makes that rattle noise. I still gotta double check the bolts now since that might be the cause.

I have RAS on my car, would that make any difference?

The problem with those knock-off exhausts is that they are taken off the jig during the manufacturing process, while they are still hot. Then placed on the floor or wherever? that warps the bends abit problem spots with these exhausts are usually on the left side off the cat which will rattle against the floorboard. And on the right side near the "pumpkin" take it to the shop and have them heat it up a bit with a torch. just not near the floor board too much or without also spraying with water because this will melt your carpet

having RAS on your car will cause it to hit the bracket in the back...

It's been on his car since April.............really! Get what you pay for, really? It would've hit back then or whatever. Something is loose, or a hanger broke.

I did search. I saw that post a while back. I cleared that bracket in the back where the RAS is. My problem now is that it sounds like its coming from the middle or somesort where it sounds like its rocking around. I know it can't be any other component since I just recently changed my whole suspension to the S-tune Nismo suspension.

It never made any noise until now. Its just bugging the hell outta me hearing it. When its on straight road, theres no noise at all. When I go on rough roads (mostly how Chicago all is), I hear it make a knock noise every now and then. Am I better off taking it to a local muffler shop and have them fix it? Or should I just re-do the whole set up and just align it better?

OP pay no attention to the negative people that add nothing to the thread.
Your best bet will be to take it to a muffler shop so they can get your ride onto a lift.
It's probably a quick adjustment/fix that needs to be made.

Forgot to mention, if it's hitting the RAS u should be able to see it from the back of the car.
