im thinkin about doing a ztube and knn drop in but before i do this i have a question is there any proven power gains from it. and i dont mean butt dyno gains i mean real proof.

if you want power don't do intake. search a little bit??? intake is for sound and looks, if you want some performance go look at the spacers and mrev2 or exhaust stuff
im not trying to get tons of power. just a little bit. and i do want it to sound better so the ztube will make it sound better im guessing since it wont have the silencer boxes on the tube?

Don't get the z tube.
I have it and don't like it. Get some kind of polished aluminum tube. Or, get a CAI.

why dont you like it? and i dont want a polished tube. im not paying 200+ dollars for a shiny tube.
you should sell me your ztube.

i had a cf z tube that made a huge sound difference. also, there's a thread somewhere on here of dynos showing the k&n drop in making more power than any cai or sri.

where did you get a carbon fiber one?

no noticeable power at all, even dyno it would hard to be say for sure you gain any power from any intakes... or if you do, you most likely lost low end as well. i have the z tube and pop charger but it is purely for sound. i would like to get a stillen box for it at some point
well i guess if the ztube was cheap enough then the sound it produces would be worth it

ztube itself made no sound difference at all when i first had it installed when my g was stock, just for your information
