Any body here have one on a coupe?
Does it drone?
I see it has a resonater if that helps.
Power gains? They claim 7hp, real world results?

Thanks!

Ok, I have had the Silver series single exhaust on for a few weeks. I installed it with MotorDynes XYZ pipe with resonated rear section.
Love the sound and the power gains were noticable.
Not too loud and overall excellent sound with no drone!

Fast forward to last night.

I just installed the Berk catted test pipes. Initial test drive was awsome! Felt and sounded great!!
Then, I got on the highway for the drive home. OMFG!!! The drone is deafaning!!! It is sooo loud (read deep!) inside the car at 1800-2800 rpm!!
I'm glad I have a 6MT! There is no way I can drive this at 55 mph in 6th.

Sadly, this is not acceptable. Got to figure something out.

If you are never going to replace the cats the Stillen exhaust I highly reccomend! Gerat price, excellent fit and look, nice sound!

I bet if you went hfc not test pipes that drone wont be nearly as loud.

Or maybe even add a resonator to the mid pipe to help reduce drone.

thanks for the update.

The Berk I installed is catted! The Stillen exhaust has a resonator in the mid pipe also.

Baisicly I have a single inlet dual outlet muffler (like stock) 2 resonators, and 2 cats.

Just talked to Tony at MotorDyne and he may be comming out with something a little better for the XYZ pipe. Only time will tell.

maybe give it some more time for the cats and ecu to adjust, maybe then the drone will get softer
